What we grind
We remove stumps of any size. Backyard stumps in the way of a fence line. Root flares your mower can’t get past. Storm-damaged trunks the tree crew didn’t haul. If it’s wood and it’s in the ground, we grind it 6–12 inches below grade so you can replant, repour concrete, or just walk through your yard again.

Owner-operated by Nick Truslow out of Meadow Vista. We run a Bandit SG-40 tracked stump grinder — the workhorse machine pros choose, sized to fit through standard residential gates without tearing up your lawn getting there. 40 HP Vanguard engine. 24-tooth Revolution wheel. Translation: it eats stumps and leaves a clean hole.

Standard is 6 to 12 inches below grade. Going deeper for a fence post, deck footing, or replant? Just say so when we measure.

No — chips stay on site by default. They make excellent mulch around your other trees and beds. Haul-away is available for an extra fee on larger jobs.

The Bandit SG-40 is 29 inches wide on the tracks. If your gate clears 30 inches, we’re in — and most standard residential side-yard gates clear that easily.

Not necessarily. As long as we can identify the right stump (mark it with a flag or send a photo from the spot), and payment is squared away ahead of time, we can handle it without you there.

Across the widest point of the root flare at ground level — including major exposed surface roots. That’s the diameter we charge against, not the smaller cut-top diameter.
